The secuconnect API is a REST API to connect your systems with our manyfold services. Such services include payment, customer loyalty programs, selling prepaid products (like call credit), and our Smart Checkout, to give some examples.
Our secucard loyalty card system offers you a wide variety of services. The cards can be used in-store or online. One card can hold data for multiple merchants, or multiple merchants can accept your card in a closed-loop system. A card can be used to collect bonus points, monetary credit, or even future monetary credit for one's current buy. You can assign the card to one or more configurable loyalty programs, and for instance upgrade an occassional customer to a regular one. Last but not least you can associate customer data with a card, also after its activation, and communicate with registered card holders using secuaction.
This guide explains how you can use the secuconnect API to use secucard functions in your online shop or other e-commerce application. It presupposes that you have already integrated the secuconnect API for payment. It begins with an example to get you started. You should study this thoroughly to understand the essentials.
