Production or Test Environments
We offer separate test environments in order to avoid compatibility issues, resulting from changes in our backend systems.
To benefit from our best service you should implement a server host selection in your shop or web application. You should be able to connect to either production or one of the test environments with ease.
Always test Sofort payments with “Demobank”. Please make sure this is considered when working with demo transactions or on test servers.
Do not test PayPal payments with non-demo transactions on our test servers. This will result in live transactions on PayPal side. Make sure you always use demo transactions to test PayPal, as these will go to the PayPal sandbox. In future our test servers may deny the authorisation of non-demo Smart Transactions for PayPal.
